Our Expertise
RHW can provide support through R&D and design, as well as complete projects, or offer full manufacturing, assembly, and site installation services to our clients
Our growth and success over the years have provided us with a broad knowledge and the ability to provide a wide variety of engineering solutions to suit our clients’ requirements. We are always keen to take on any project, big or small and can offer the full package, covering fabrication through to assembly and installation, as well as the ability to provide protective paint finishes to our customers’ requirements.
We also often incorporate pneumatics, electrical and hydraulics aspects, demonstrating our versatility, broad knowledge and willingness to take on new challenges.
Our History
RHW was founded in 1988 by our current Managing Director, Robert Wiltshire. With manufacturing and mechanical handling at the heart of RHW, our formative years were spent assisting companies and large infrastructure projects with bespoke fabrications. This started with the conveyor systems used in the passenger aviation and packaging manufacturing industries.
With the rollout of large-scale automation over the last 37 years, we have maintained our presence within these sectors. While at the same time moving into product R&D and manufacturing, including our own industrial turntables. RHW has maintained its growth and development by keeping an interest in work variety. Providing services to new customers with different requirements across the spectrum of engineering practices.
Continued Development
We continue to keep up to date with the latest industry requirements, and as part of this, we can offer ISO:9001 together with BSEN:1090-2 as well as full traceability throughout the manufacturing and paint finishing process. Skills maintenance and development are important to us at RHW and key to staying competitive in a rapidly changing industry. As part of this, in 2025, we have been investing in new machinery and equipment. Keeping our already experienced team of engineers up to date with the latest technologies. Including upgrading our ESAB welding plants to new Kemppi MIG and TIG machines.

His real passion lies in the design stage, where he constantly seeks new ways to innovate and improve, ensuring each solution is both practical and forward-thinking.
