The Project

RHW Engineering received and enquiry from a UK based fuel testing and monitoring company to provide a quotation to manufacture a fuel test rig for testing of new equipment. RHW received an order to manufacture the equipment and provide assistance leading up to installation identifying techniques to aid the build and design of the product.

Upon completion of manufacture, the following processes / testing were carried out:

• NDT of external welded joints
• Air pressure test to storage vessel
• Deep clean of internal compartments of vessel
• All external areas of storage vessel shot blasted
• Two pack high specification wet paint system applied in RHW’s 20m in-house wet painting facility
• All stainless-steel components externally cleaned after manufacture
• Comprehensive quality check before delivery

This successful project was delivered within budget and met the clients required time frames for delivery. Contract 11418
